Bovine plasminogen is activated by urokinase (uPA), tissue plasminogen activation (tPA), and streptokinase-human plasminogen/plasmin complex. Bovine plasminogen is not activated by streptokinase alone. tPA activation is stimulated several hundredfold by poly D-lysine, CNBr-fibrinogen, and des AA-fibrinogen. uPA activation is stimulated approximately 10X in the presences of 6-aminohexanoic acid (EACA) or poly-D-lysine
