Measures human PAI-1 in tissue extracts and cell culture supernatant.As a primary regulator of fibrinolysis, PAI-1 is found in a number of tissues and cell types, including macrophages/monocytes, hepatocytes, vascular endothelia, adipose tissue of the heart and lungs and in platelets.
